Stephanie Adams Rowe, currently licensed in West Virginia as Massage and Bodyworker #2017-3673, has been practicing bodywork modalities since 1972. She received licensure from the commonwealth of Virginia in 1997 and in North Carolina in January 2000 when licensing became available.
She received national certification in 1993.
Stephanie seeks out training with the originators of a modality to receive the purest instruction. She has studied extensively with physical therapist John Barnes, international speaker and founder of the Myofascial Release Institute in Paoli, Pennsylvania, and Sedona, Arizona. She has also trained in private clinics with John Barnes at his Paoli clinic.
This has proven to be invaluable, as has training with British Sports Therapist, Stewart Tawes.
Stephanie focuses on health restorative techniques centering on realigning muscle bundles & restoring range of motion using a combination of more than 35 years of experience gleaned from dozens of workshops and private clinics representing a myriad of styles. She primarily concentrates on Myofascial Release, British Sports Therapy plus her own personalized style, adapted from a triad of modalities, aptly called Myolinear Reset.
MYOLINEAR RESET Myolinear Reset incorporates many facets of traditional and eastern techniques beneficial for fibromyalgia and chronic myofascial pain syndrome sufferers as well as clients dealing with such conditions as TMJ, migraine and carpal/tarsal tunnel syndrome.
Significant improvements are often achieved with one or two treatments, particularly with carpal tunnel and chronic foot pain. Additionally, any emotionally traumatizing event such as a divorce, death of someone dear to us, or even a move across town can trigger soft tissue pain that doesn't seem to go away even with time. Such pain is often harder to treat than purely physical discomfort brought about by traditionally obvious means.
